WHY ENDEAVOUR?
To endeavour means to keep going even when you're not sure it's going to work out. That felt right for us. Engineering a race car as a group of students is not easy — things break, simulations don't behave, and deadlines come fast.
Every time we hit a problem, we don't step back. We test a new approach, run another simulation, rethink the design, and go again. That attitude is baked into the name we chose.
HMS Endeavour carried Captain Cook on a voyage into the unknown, charting territory no one had mapped before. The Space Shuttle Endeavour pushed human achievement beyond the atmosphere. Both were attached to people pushing into territory they'd never been before.
That is what we are trying to do — in our own way, on our own scale.
Design & Concept
Simulations, sketches, arguments, and breakthroughs. The car begins with rigorous R&D.
Build & Test
Hands on the car. Iterations in the workshop. Things break. We fix them better.
Regional Competition
1st place overall. Best Engineered Car. R&D Award nomination. Our process delivered.
Nationals
STEM Racing Nationals, Development Class. We competed, we gave everything, and we represented Harrow School on the national stage.
